5Loaves 2Fish is no longer just a mobile kitchen. We now have a 174 seat restaurant with a gorgeous panoramic view of the St. Johns River. We are located at 1301 Riverplace Blvd at the bottom of the Ameris Bank Building. We are open Monday through Friday and specialize in breakfast, lunch, corporate catering, and in-house special events catering. 5Loaves 2Fish exists to bring top quality, fresh, and creatively inspired cuisine to the Jacksonville. Whenever possible we will support local farms, purveyors, and bakers. Our menu is inspired by what is in season and available, and we never use frozen, packaged, or pre-made products. We will use our 25+ years of restaurant experience to bring delicious food to the multitudes.
Quality ingredients are the cornerstone of what we serve from our truck. We call it “Contemporary Regional American” food, where we incorporate modern cooking techniques with regional and ethnic influences to offer a twist on both the familiar and different.

We are a team of dedicated professionals, ready to do what ever it takes to bring you the best in Contemporary Regional American cuisine.
After growing up in Miami and being exposed to Latin and Carribean cuisines, all of which are packed with bold, fresh flavors, I became interested in pursuing a career in the restaurant industry. Fast forward 25 years, my experiences range from fast food, corporate, fine dining, and private residence chef. I have a bachelors degree from The Culinary Institute of America in Restaurant Operations and was the valedictorian for both the culinary program and business management program. I have worked in restaurants in Miami, New York, Orlando, Jacksonville, and St. Augustine. Locally, I was the chef at Opus 39(St. Augustine-closed), Matthews(San Marco), and I opened Eleven South(Jax Beach) and received “Best New Restaurant” within 6 months of opening. The opening of 5Loaves 2Fish Cafe on the Southbank of downtown Jacksonville is an exciting opportunity to help grow the local restaurant culture by providing top quality food in a casual, yet elegant, atmosphere.
